What to Expect

What you should expect

FUN! FUN! FUN! and a relaxed atmosphere! This is how my clients described their portrait sessions. By having fun and being relaxed you will feel and look your best.

The goal of every session is to capture your personality and story. In our pre-session consultation, we will discuss the session, the clothing, the location, the stories you want to tell, and the “personalities” you want to capture. And don’t worry if you are not sure – I will help guide you to get exactly what you want!

Pre-session Consultation

When you first contact IMB Images Photography, I will answer any questions you may have and will let you know about the services I offer. This is best done face-to-face, but we can also do it over the phone.

During this appointment we will:

  • Discuss what you would like to accomplish with your portrait session
  • Discuss locations and clothing options
  • Schedule your portrait session

Portrait Sessions

Most sessions last from 45 minutes to an hour. It’s okay to take longer – it’s more important to capture the perfect portrait than to watch the clock.

I leave time for breaks do you stay relaxed and look your best.

Some of the best portrait sessions take place on location or at your home. Most of my portraiture is done on location in an environment that reflects who you are.

I have a very relaxed style when working with you. I like to have fun on a portrait session and encourage you to do what comes naturally. If you are having fun, the portraits will show it. I try to capture and create very natural feeling images. I want your experience to bring a smile to your face and put amazing portraits on your walls.

After Your Session

I will edit your session, select the top images from the portrait session, and create a slideshow for you to view at your home. After the slideshow, we will go through your images together and you will select your favorites to create your art work. The slideshow and images are projected on a large screen and enables you to see a full-scale preview of your wall portraits. If you do not have the wall space, you can view your images on my computer screen.

If you send me digital images of your walls, I can design portrait wall art and show you how it would look on your walls! Ask for more details about how to submit your images.

I offer a variety of options to please individual wants, needs and tastes. Wall art is a particular specialty and includes a multitude of print sizes, canvas wrapping, a CD of images, and even greeting cards for any occasion.
